Michael Plater is a singer/songwriter based in Melbourne, Australia. Taking in various indie, gothic folk, psych, country and “noir” influences, his albums “Exit Keys” (2012) and “Mythologies” (2016) have received worldwide critical acclaim (in such areas as the U.K, Italy, France, Germany, the Dominican Republic, and the U.S).
His album “Mythologies” was recently re-released in the U.K through cult British folk/psyche/drone label Reverb Worship and his music has appeared on releases by the U.K label Woodford Halse, Germany’s At Sea Compilations and Greece’s Do What Thou Wilt records.
