AshMcAuliffe is Blackburn (UK) based producer – aka Andrew McAuliffe-Shave – with a penchant for introspective instrumental synthpop and electronic soundscapes.
The band is known for its Synthy electronica that evokes the future (or what it should sound like) with a definite cinematic ambiance and a touch of John Carpenter horror lurking in the background. AshMcAuliffe is a one man band. Starting in 2003 as an introspective guitar and vocals singer/songwriter he began to dabble in electronica circa 2010 and has built upon this since then. He has released 2 main albums – “Dark City” and “Technoscryer” with a variety of EP’s. All independently released. Cites musical influences such as John Carpenter, BlutEngel, Arcana, Mike Oldfield, Oil 10.
